Over the last 53 years, many of our family of patrons have returned from vacation trips with a gift for owner Monroe Udell, which has helped build the collection and forged a relationship that has made Jaxson’s® a favorite among Floridians and visitors.
Founder Monroe Udell enjoys many accolades and awards from critics and the food service industry.
And while the ice cream eatery enjoys 53 years of continued operations, the history which is Jaxson’s® predate the year 1946, when the Udell family moved to South Florida from the East, bringing with them decades of old recipes for cream and food preparation.
Jaxson’s® takes special pride in all of its products. Jaxson’s® Ice Cream and toppings are prepared daily on premises using the freshest dairy cream, berries and nuts.
In addition, our sodas, sundaes and other ice cream creations are topped with real whipped cream. The same concern and attention is given in the preparation of all foods in Jaxson’s ® Country Kitchen.
